Installing Fonts

Wondering how to have one of our fonts running on your computer? Well here is how to install fonts on a Windows based system. First off, Windows operating system supports TrueType fonts and they are available right here at Many Fonts.com. To install a font from our site simple follow these directions.

  • 1. Right Click on the Start button, which is located in the bottom left corner of every Windows system
  • 2. Move up and click onEXPLORE. This will open a window showing everything on your computer
  • 3. Look through the list on the LEFT side for a folder entitle WINDOWS
  • 4. Once inside look for the called FONTS
  • 5. Now simple drag and drop any new font that you downloaded into this folder, a box will pop up saying installing font 1 of 1.

    • If you cannot find the font folder and want to try another way to get there do this

  • A. Click Start, and then click Run.
  • B. Type %windir%\fonts, and then click OK.
  • C. Now you can follow Step 5 above.

Using AA, or more commonly known as anti-alias, can help your font look sharper at different sizes. Four types of AA include sharp, crisp, smooth, and strong. Usually, you use AA on larger sizes, such as 16pt. For crisp type when using a font at a size such as 10 or 11pt, usually putting AA on doesn't turn out pretty.
